Rising 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th Grade: Landscaping and Construction Camp 7/10-7/12
CPSC middle school invites rising 6th,7th, 8th and 9th graders to a 3-day Landscaping and Construction workshop to help re-imagine and reinvent half of the back parking lot of the middle school!
Program details:
Hands on experience measuring and preparing wood, cutting wood, cutting joints, building boxes/benches/garden beds, digging, laying and preparing soil, transplanting existing and new plants, painting, staining, fixing and finishing minor woodworking projects.
Experience working with various tools including, crowbars, hand saws, reciprocating saws, circular saws, drivers, hammers, nails, screws, washers, bolts etc. AND special visits from local female experts!!!
Instructors are excited teach, build, and create alongside our future D.I.Y.-ers! See you there!
